Taco Bell is known for its many delicious, iconic creations—from the Crunchwrap Supreme to Nacho Fries and the Mexican Pizza—and amazing, fan-loved collabs (of course, we’re talking about the Doritos Locos Tacos.) Even though Taco Bell is constantly releasing new, limited-time menu items, the one area the brand seems to have fallen short on is desserts.
Sure, with so many tasty savory options to choose from, you barely need a sweet treat. And, if you do, the Cinnamon Twists will do the trick, or even one of Taco Bell’s sweet, slushy Freeze sodas can pass. However, we wouldn’t complain about a little more variety.
In 2024, Taco Bell released the highly anticipated Baja Blast Gelato as part of the 20th Bajaversary, which sold out almost immediately. Now, as we’re still waiting for the promised Baja Blast Pie, the fast food chain is adding a new limited-time dessert that we can’t believe it hasn’t sold before: churros. But not just any churros. Think birthday cake-flavored churros made in partnership with New York’s famous bakery Milk Bar.
Taco Bell Releases New Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros

The new dessert is inspired by the classic Spanish fried dough coated with cinnamon sugar, but with the addition of Milk Bar’s fan-favorite birthday cake flavor—yes, the same one Taylor Swift gets for her birthday every year.
Taco Bell’s Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros are warm, crispy churros filled with Milk Bar’s signature birthday cake frosting and topped with pink confetti sprinkles.
This isn’t the first time Taco Bell and Milk Bar have teamed up to create a dessert. In 2022, the brands released Strawberry Bell Truffles made with vanilla cake soaked in strawberry milk and dotted with strawberry pieces filled with sweet corn fudge, all rolled in strawberry and corn cake coating and real Taco Bell crunchy shell pieces.
However, unlike the truffles, which were only available at one Taco Bell restaurant and two Milk Bar locations, the new Birthday Cake Churros are hitting Taco Bell menus nationwide.
The Milk Bar Birthday Cake Churros will be available in one or two counts at all Taco Bell restaurants beginning Feb. 20 for a limited time.
The birthday-inspired collab comes just in time for Taco Bell’s 63rd anniversary—and the Tex-Mex chain isn’t the only one celebrating. In honor of the fast food mashup, Milk Bar is also adding new Churro Birthday Cake Truffles to its flagship store. On Feb. 20, you can score free cake truffles with a churro center from Milk Bar’s NYC Flagship location (1196 Broadway) while supplies last.
After its first Milk Bar collab—and seeing how fans reacted to Baja Blast Gelato—Taco Bell is already anticipating that the Birthday Cake Churros will sell out quickly. So, if you want to try the sweet, crispy, frosting-filled churros, you’d better hit the drive-thru ASAP.
