From Tupperware copycats to affordable grocery finds, Dollar Tree shoppers love sharing their latest favorites from the retail chain on social media. A Dollar Tree lover to my core, I buy everything from spices to kitchen tools at the discount store, and often turn to TikTok for suggestions on things to look out for on my next visit—including the viral silicone bowl covers I’m still trying to track down.
But there’s one item I always find well-stocked at Dollar Tree, despite it receiving lots of great reviews on social media in places like Reddit and TikTok. No, it’s not trendy wooden Mason jar lids or name-brand cans of Poppi soda (yes, you can find those things at Dollar Tree!) My go-to Dollar Tree item is a cleaning product that helps me keep my kitchen tidy.
Why I Love Dollar Tree’s Pink Multi-Purpose Cleaning Paste
The $1.25 cleaning product I never leave Dollar Tree without? Dollar Tree’s pink cleaning paste, a copycat of the popular The Pink Stuff paste that’s been trending on social media for a while now. Dollar Tree’s look-alike version comes in a 7-ounce plastic tub and says it’s for use all over the house, from the bedroom to the bathroom. Online, I’ve seen people clean everything from their kitchen sink to outdoor patio tiles with it and get great results.
The small pink container, labeled “Multi-Purpose Cleaning Paste,” says the pink paste is safe to use on pans, cooktops, garden furniture, showers, ceramic tiles, and more. The instructions are simple: rub on a bit of cleaning paste using a soft cloth and scrub in gentle circles. When you’re finished, clean the surface with hot water to rinse away leftover product and grime.
How to Use Dollar Tree's Pink Paste
I primarily use the Multi-Purpose Cleaning Paste from Dollar Tree in the kitchen, cleaning my stovetop, stainless steel kitchen sink, and granite countertops with amazing results. Using a sponge or Scrub Daddy cleaning pad, I scoop up a bit of pink paste and dab it onto the surface I’m cleaning, then scrub in gentle circles. A hot water rinse leaves behind a clean and shiny surface that always makes me feel accomplished in my cleaning routine. The paste cuts grease and stuck-on grime on my stovetop, shines my sink perfectly, and helps get things like paint from my daughter’s latest craft project or spilled sauce off my countertops with ease.
What’s more, it’s incredibly affordable. The Pink Stuff costs about 34 cents an ounce ($6 for a 17-ounce tub at Amazon) while my preferred Dollar Tree version costs about 18 cents an ounce, making it an addition to my kitchen cleaning routine that fits perfectly into my household budget.
Dollar Tree’s pink paste copycat seems to be readily available in stores, but if you can’t find it, there are plenty of great items to pick up for $1.25, from a stainless steel chopper we can’t say enough good things about to bins for storing berries and keeping them fresh.
