What cereal brings you back to childhood? Is it Twinkles, the star-shaped vanilla and butter cookie flavored cereal that recently returned from its decades-long hiatus? Or Cinnamon Toast Crunch, the brand known for its surprising collabs and signature Cinnadust that’s slowly but surely reaching every aisle of the grocery store.
For me, Lucky Charms will forever have a place in my heart. The vibrant red box featuring Lucky The Leprechaun instantly takes me back to ripping open plastic cereal bowls during school breakfast and sipping colorful marshmallow-flavored milk while watching Saturday cartoons.
The frosted toasted cereal has been a breakfast aisle staple since its debut in the ’60s. Even Olympians have name dropped the brand as a go-to snack, and it’s no surprise. With flavors such as Chocolatey Chocolate, S’mores, and of course, the OG itself—there’s plenty to choose from.
This spring, General Mills is bringing Lucky Charms’ magic to fans in a whole new way. The Minnesota-based company is launching two new cereals, plus even more exciting products for marshmallow lovers.

Lucky Charms Rainbow Sprinkles just landed on shelves exclusively at Walmart. The festive box features birthday-cake flavored sweetened corn cereal infused with colorful confetti sprinkles and plenty of the brand’s signature marshmallows to fill your bowl.
Food insider @markie_devo recently shared the news on Instagram and users raced to the comment section to share their thoughts. “Why did it take them too long to do this. I’ve wanted this for years,” wrote one Instagrammer. “I’m all for this! and the box is adorable,” replied another.
In addition, fans can also try Lucky Charms Jumbo Rainbow. For the first time, the brand is supersizing its iconic rainbow marshmallows, adding an extra helping of magic to every spoonful for a limited time.
Lucky Charms' Seasonal Favorites Return
And that’s not all. The brand is also releasing two marshmallow-only offerings. Limited-Edition St. Patrick’s Day Just Magical Marshmallows is back and can be found at Target, but you’ll have to wait until April if you want to snag the newest addition: Jumbo Rainbow Just Magical Marshmallows. It will feature all of Lucky’s charms including the new super-sized rainbow and is the perfect addition to your next batch of Lucky Charms treats.
Lucky Charms Rainbow Sprinkles will expand its rollout nationwide in April, just as Lucky Charms Jumbo Rainbow and Jumbo Rainbow Just Magical Marshmallows hit stores.

Now, for the real news of the moment, if you’ve been waiting all year for milk-changing Lucky Charms, you’re in luck. The cereal, which features special green clovers that magically turn milk green, is back but only for a limited time, so be sure to snag a box (or two!) on your next grocery run. As always, "they're magically delicious."
