When you open the freezer in search of the perfect sweet treat, few things hit the spot like a Drumstick. From the chocolate-coated scoop to the signature chocolate nugget at the bottom, it’s the ultimate ice cream indulgence.
But just because it’s been a freezer staple for decades doesn’t mean it’s a one-trick pony. Nestlé’s novelty cones have come in all kinds of flavors, from Cookies & Cream to Mint and even Banana. Some varieties even feature decadent cores of caramel or fudge. Until now, however, Drumstick had never ventured into one of chocolate’s most legendary pairings: peanut butter.

Drumstick’s New Peanut Butter Sundae Cones
Drumstick just launched the We Love Peanut Butter pack, introducing its first-ever peanut butter-stuffed cones in two varieties: Peanut Butter Sundae and Chocolate Peanut Butter Sundae. It's the perfect blend of salty and sweet, and it's hard to believe it took this long to arrive.

Inside the signature waffle-style cone, you’ll find creamy peanut butter or chocolate peanut butter ice cream, complete with a rich peanut butter center. The whole thing is then dipped in a chocolatey coating studded with crispy cookie pieces. And, of course, don’t forget the classic chocolate nugget at the bottom—because it wouldn’t be a Drumstick without one.
“We know there are so many peanut butter fans out there, but there aren’t too many peanut butter frozen novelties—and even fewer cones,” Elmer Gonzalez, Brand Manager, shared in a press release. “As America’s favorite sundae cone, we wanted to change that in a way only Drumstick could. Each cone delivers a punch of peanut butter flavor that we take over the top by dipping it in a rich coating of chocolatey cookie pieces. If you’re someone who likes to snack on peanut butter, you’ll want to try these.”
We’ll admit, we’re a little curious about how that peanut butter core will hold up in the freezer—nobody wants to break a tooth on a block of frozen PB. Though as dedicated peanut butter and chocolate lovers, we’re more than willing to find out.
And judging by the online conversation, fans are even more impatient. “WHERE ARE THESE!?” one person asked, while another warned, “This is a rare no self-control area.”
The We Love Peanut Butter eight-pack is rolling out nationwide now for $9.99, and we have a feeling it won’t stay on shelves for long. So, if you’re a peanut butter fan, don’t hesitate to try out this salty-sweet, satisfying treat.
