Mountain Dew is no stranger to exclusivity. In fact, it’s one of the things that makes the fan-loved soda brand so elusive. If you want a citrusy Baja Blast, you have to go to the Taco Bell drive-thru. If you want a hit of Sweet Lightning, you’ll have to swing by KFC. And, now, if you want its newest flavor, you’ll have to pair it with some pizza, pizza.
For the third year in a row, PepsiCo, the brand behind Mountain Dew, is teaming up with Little Caesars to release an exclusive flavor. Except this year, it’s not Pineapple Pepsi (sorry to all you citrus Pepsi fans).
Following the success of the fruity cola, PepsiCo and Little Caesars partnered to launch a new, citrusy, spicy Mountain Dew flavor.
Beginning May 5, you’ll find new Mountain Dew Mango Rush at all Little Caesars restaurants nationwide.
Mountain Dew Launches New Mango Rush Flavor at Little Caesars

The new sweet-heat, citrusy flavor will only be available to purchase at the pizza chain. Mountain Dew’s Mango Rush soda is fruit-forward with a bold mango flavor blended into the already citrusy base. However, unlike Mountain Dew’s recent Baja Blast Mango Gem, which it released in summer 2022, the sweet soda is balanced with a kick of spice.
“Dew with a blast of natural and artificial mango sweet heat flavor,” the Mango Rush can reads.
So, if you want to compare it to a previous Mountain Dew flavor, it’s probably most similar to the Mountain Dew Game Fuel Mango Heat, which the brand launched in partnership with the video game Titanfall 2 when it was released in 2016. Fans enjoyed the sweet-and-spicy, half-diet soda, with one Reddit user writing, “Had an awesome after heat effect imo. Love for this one to come back.”
While Little Caesars’ new Mango Rush Mountain Dew isn’t the exact same as the discontinued Mango Heat, it might quench the same craving.
“Did you try the mango heat that came out years ago? If it’s like that, it was surprisingly good,” another Reddit user commented on a post about the new Little Caesars exclusive.
The new Mountain Dew flavor will be sold in 16-ounce cans with a co-branded Little Caesars design. The sweet-heat flavor will only be available for a limited time, so if fans go as ga-ga over this flavor as the past Little Caesars exclusives, you’ll want to get to the pizza restaurant ASAP.
