According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Feel Good Foods LLC is recalling 4,246 cases of its Three Cheese Mac & Cheese Bites because they have the potential to be contaminated with foreign material—specifically, small pieces of metal.

The recall was initially issued on Feb. 5 by Feel Good Foods, though the FDA recently updated it to a Class II event.

A Class II recall (which is the second-most severe risk level) indicates “a situation in which use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.”

How to Identify the Recalled Mac & Cheese Bites

Feel Good Foods' gluten-free Three Cheese Mac & Cheese Bites are sold nationwide at grocery stores, including Target, Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, Wegmans, and Sprouts, as well as regional grocery chains.

The recalled product comes in 8-ounce boxes and has the following identifying markers:

  • UPC: 8-99039-00280-8
  • Lot Code: 24354AV1 or 24355AV1
  • Best By Date: 6/19/26 or 6/20/26

A photo of the recalled product can be found on Feel Good Foods website.

What to Do if You Have the Recalled Product

Do not consume the recalled frozen mac and cheese bites. Instead, discard them or return them to the original place of purchase for a refund. Feel Good Foods did not directly provide guidance or contact information, but consumers with additional questions can reach the company through this form on its website.

Stores like Wegmans and Schnucks have encouraged customers to return the affected products to the store where they purchased them for a full refund or exchange.
