You know what’s perfect for that dark corner on your kitchen countertop, the one that’s under a corner top cabinet where items go to get lost? A “Lazy Susan.” On a turntable—which is technically what a Lazy Susan is—nothing ever gets lost in the back recesses that are too hard to reach. Spin it around and what’s in the back appears in the front like magic. Lazy Susans are a practical and useful kitchen organization tool.

They come in all sizes. Some large versions are built into corner cabinets, making accessing all those spices easier. Some of the more decorative ones have more than one tier, and some have large circumferences designed for the dining table, so everyone can easily reach the salt and pepper.

And others are just perfect for the aforementioned dark corners. This week, Aldi has one that will fit in those shadows, but it’s pretty enough to come out into the light. It’s similar to one Williams Sonoma sells, but not nearly as expensive. Starting March 12 in the Aldi Finds aisle, you’ll be able to snag one for yourself.

Aldi’s Crofton Wooden Lazy Susan With Metal Rim

Aldi / Allrecipes

As you peruse the Finds this week, you’ll see a lot of household items as always, and it’s tough to resist some—like a bargain stockpot, immersion blender, or electric griddle. That’s why it’s good to know ahead of time what will be on those shelves so you can plan and set your resolve to buy only what’s on your list.

If you have one of those dark corners or another spot in the house that could use some organization, the 12-inch Crofton Lazy Susan may need to go on said list. Made of beautiful dark wood with a metal rim around the edge to give it a bit of style, it’s just $12.99. Williams Sonoma’s similar 10-inch dark wood Lazy Susan (without a decorative metal rim) goes for $49.95.

If I’m sticking something in the corner of my kitchen, I’d rather pay $13 instead of $50, wouldn’t you? However, the Crofton Lazy Susan is attractive enough to show off, too.

When new Finds hit the Aldi aisles on Wednesdays, they’re there for just one week (or until they sell out). By March 19, maybe even before, there’s a good possibility the Lazy Susan will be nowhere to be found in your local Aldi, so plan accordingly.
